Courtesy visit by the MEC on Friday 15th of October 2010 to Hoërskool Middelburg

The reason for the visit was to thank the management for their effort in ensuring that the learners receive quality education and to encourage them to maintain or improve on their good performance.

The MEC (by mouth Mrs Regina Mahula) responds as follow:

•·       Teaching is a calling and it is clear that Hoërskool Middelburg's

educators are committed to their profession.

•·       She praised the school for good work and continued achievements.

•·       Motivates the matriculants to produce excellent grades during the 2010 examinations.

•·       She also stated that it is our responsibility to produce responsible adults to take over the reigns in a successful manner in the future of South Africa.

•·       Teaching produces all professions and it all starts at school level.

•·       By teaching children we are developing the country and the community.

•·       She congratulated the school with the good work done and for setting an example for the rest of the country.  It is our responsibility to pull the others up to our standard.
